Funding Cuts Will Not Be Restored

Governor McDonnell’s recent budget amendments include over $500 million in new revenue to spend and NONE of it is slated to go to Take Actionrestoring funding cuts from K-12. McDonnell also made no mention if K-12 in his recent State of the Commonwealth Address and did not list K-12 Public Education as one of his priorities. These are all troubling developments that Virginia PTA is very concerned about.

Click the ALERT button on the left of this page or call your representatives at the General Assembly today and tell them to put K-12 public education on the priority list and ask them to restore the funding that has been cut.
